Knowledge Base - Backing up Disk Images

We are able to select disks and stream them offsite using our powerful and efficient Rolling Differential algorithm, which saves on storage as well as local disk space overhead.

To select a Physical Drive, you can do so from the Client GUI's Selections Tab, select 'Computer' and then 'Physical Drives' which will show a list of Physical Drive's available for backup, along with their Partitions, size and type.

To do a file level restore of a backed up disk, you will see it in the 'Available to Restore' section of the Client GUI > Restore tab, nested under the "#" folder:

You are able to apply the same sorting and filtering functionality to these restorable drive files that you can to any other restorable data.

Currently this functionality works for drives up to 2TB in size and under.
